Living in an apartment can be a nightmare, especially when things go very wrong like burning your carpet. I lived in my apartment for years and never had anything major go wrong until that. One cold day I had a ceramic heater that fell over and I didn’t notice it until I smelt burning plastic. When I pick it up, I saw a few small burns in my Berber carpet (right in the very middle of the floor!). I remember asking myself, “How do I fix a berber carpet burn?” and “Is it possible to fix a Berber carpet burn??” However, it was something I knew I had to somehow fix before I moved out or I’d lose my deposit.
I called a local carpet cleaner and amazingly he was able to fix the surface enough to make it look nearly unnoticeable. If you were wondering, I did get my deposit back and wasn’t charged for the carpet! Got to love Berber carpet!
